Do you offer baby seats with bike hire?

Yes we do have bike baby seats available for hire.  These are subject to availability so ask our friendly staff if we will have a seat available for your hire period.

Do you hire children’s bikes?

Yes of course.  We have bike hire for the whole family.

What happens if I have a puncture or breakdown during my bike hire?

All our bikes are professionally maintained and checked before each hire.  In the unusual event of a puncture or breakdown, you can call our team who will assist you to get back on your way.

What accessories are included in my bike hire?

All bike hires included a sanitised helmet, a bike lock and chain, and a bike stand. If you need any other accessories, you may like to check out our bike accessories for sale.

Can I take the bike for a test ride before I hire?

Yes.  We encourage you to take a short ride on the bike to ensure that you are comfortable on it before going on any longer rides.

What happens if I return the bike late?

Our bike hire is very popular and returning your bike late may impact on other customers.  Late returns may be subject to late fees.  We ask that if you are aware that your return will be late that you let us know as soon as possible.

What happens if my hire bike gets lost, stolen, or damaged?

You are responsible for the bike for the duration of your hire.  As such, if the bike is lost, stolen, or damaged, you will be charged for repair or replacement.  Your rental documents will detail this in full and we will explain this at the time of hire.  In such an event, we ask that you inform us as soon as possible.

Are there any cancellation fees on bike hire?

Yes. For bike hire bookings cancelled within 48 hours of pickup date, we charge 1-day hire as a cancellation fee.

Do you sell your hire bikes?

Yes.  When we feel it’s time to retire a bike from our fleet, we give them a full service and sell them as second-hand bikes.

Do I have to make a booking for bike hire or can I just show up?

Our bike hire service is extremely popular and for this reason, we do encourage you to book as soon as possible before your hire date.  We do, however, welcome last-minute bike hires as long as we have the availability for the bike(s) you are looking to hire.
