Pedal along the coastal road, passing fields of sugarecane against the backdrop of the mountains surrounding Mossman Gorge. Arriving at the Mossman Markets, you’ll be greeted by a vibrant scene—local artisans, fresh produce, and the aroma of exotic spices. Take a moment to savor the flavors and perhaps snag a unique souvenir.
- Breakfast at a Charming Café
- Hunger pangs? Fear not! With a choice of trendy cafe's along the route there's no shortage of freshly brewed coffee or indulge in a hearty breakfast. As you refuel, chat with fellow adventurers and friendly locals happy to share stories of their hometown.
- Mossman Gorge (9 km)
- From the markets, follow the winding path to the Mossman Gorge. The emerald waters of the Mossman River beckon, and you’ll feel the ancient energy of the rainforest enveloping you. Park your e-bike and explore the Baral Marrjanga trail—a 270-meter elevated boardwalk that leads to a lookout. Here, the river dances below, framed by majestic mountains. Capture this moment—it’s pure magic.
- Shannonvale Causeway Swim (18 km)
- Back on your e-bike, ride toward the Shannonvale Causeway. As you approach the causeway, the rustling waters invite you for a refreshing dip. Plunge into the coolness, and let the cares of the world float away. The rainforest embraces you—it’s like swimming in a hidden oasis.
- Shannonvale Winery (20 km)
- Next, and not to be missed is the Shannonvale Tropical Fruit Winery. Here your senses will truly explode with the blends of unique tripical fruit wines. Be sure to taste some of the delights and take a bottle home. Your first taste is free, but there is lots more to enjoy. Even fascinating cellar tours.
