Your day on the bike:

Self-Guided Mountain Biking Adventure from the Highlands to the Coast

Set off on a thrilling self-guided mountain biking tour through the diverse landscapes of Far North Queensland, powered by a turn-by-turn GPS guidance system that keeps you confidently on track.

Your adventure begins with a 7:30 am shuttle to the trailhead, where our team provides a detailed safety briefing and updates on current trail conditions.

Equipped with top-tier gear—including a high-quality mountain bike or optional eMTB, helmet, gloves, backpack, and Personal Location Beacon—you’re free to ride at your own pace, without the pressure of group dynamics.

The trail winds through open farmland, lush rainforest, and temperate forest, offering breathtaking views of mountain-cloaked valleys and the coastal horizon.

You’ll tackle a variety of terrain, from dirt roads and fire trails to single-track and farm connectors, culminating in the exhilarating 2 km descent of the iconic Bump Track into the Mowbray Valley. From there, it’s a scenic cruise into Port Douglas—your home-run—where the ride ends, but the memories linger.

With typical ride times of 2.5 to 3 hours, you’re welcome to take your time and explore the region’s natural beauty at your leisure.
