Four Mile Beach
Don't miss what is regarded as an absolute MUST DO while in Port Douglas. Take a leisurely ride along one of Australia's top beaches.
The sand on Four Mile is firm enough to make riding a bike a very pleasant few hours for the whole family.
Look out for dolphins, rays and much more marine live. For the adventurous, try you hand at kite-surfing or stand-up paddle-boarding with Windswell on the far end of the beach.
The beach is rideable on all but extremely high tides, however low-tide is best as the beach opens into a wide stunningly beautiful highlight of the Far North. Look out for an old car wreck at low-tide on the southerly end.
Only our standard bike are allowed on the beach.
Family Treasure Hunt
The treasure hunt adventure will take you on a full tour of Port Douglas encompassing all the sights you’ll want to visit.
If you are visiting, it’s the perfect way to get your bearings and tick a lot off your list in one day.
You will experience riding Four Mile Beach, see the lakes (careful the crocs!), stop for a well-deserved refreshments at one of Port's many cafe's or pubs. You will gain insights into much of the landscape and what makes Far North Queensland such a special place.
See a stinging tree up close, meet some friendly wildlife and chat to locals along the way.

Bike Park
Why not head over the Port Douglas Sports Complex for a heap of fun on a bike. There's a pump track for the kids (of all ages), a skate park (not for bikes) and the Jungle Jumps MTB Skills Park.
If this sounds like you, talk to the team at the Bike Shop when you collect your bikes so they can advise you on the best bikes for your ride.
The Jungle Jumps MTB Park includes a jump park but please ensure you have chosen a suitable bike this as our standard bikes are not suitable for this.
There is also a skills loop that everyone can enjoy as it includes easy and more difficult obstacles to practice your skills on.
